Job Description

A career within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. In short, we help some of the world’s leading investors and companies originate, create, execute, and realise value from deals. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company.The applicant will:Provide coaching to associates, senior Associates and managers;Independently lead execution of complex due diligence assignments with guidance from partners and other senior team members;Identify deal issues and provide suggestions to maximise client value;Manage day-to-day client interactions regarding project matters;Project management and work closely with internal and external workstreams (e.g. tax and commercial due diligence teams);Preparation of high quality due diligence report and other deliverables;Manage engagement risk and potential client or engagement issues;Assist partners and directors in business development efforts; andParticipate in training and recruitment activities.Requirements:Eight years plus relevant experience including audit, due diligence and consulting. Prior financial due diligence experience would be a plus;CPA or equivalent qualification and technically strong;Big Four accounting firm or equivalent background preferred;Excellent business sense and be able to think strategically;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Strong project management skills;Team player and willing to collaborate; High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics tools;Proficiencies in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin);Ability to produce concise, issue-focused report in English. Ability to write in Chinese is a plus.
