We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ASST VP - PROCESSING.Principal responsibilitiesTo continually reassess the operational risks inherent in the business taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technologyTo implement Group Compliance Policy by containing compliance risk in conjunction with the relevant compliance department. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.Planning resources for optimizing output, meeting workload fluctuation & tight time window and the expansion of the operations. Ensure cost effective and excellent customer services are provided.Manage, motivate and develop junior executives and operations staffAuthorizing CDDU transactions and ensuring the operations are under proper management control if anyControlling operating costs and identifying ways to reduce operating expensesStreamlining operational procedures and removing redundant activities while ensuring adequate and proper operational controls are maintainedLiaising and co-coordinating with other Group offices for smooth implementation of functions migrated to HDPGAssisting Vice President General Processing with task delegatedRequirementsBA degree in Business or Management related8-10 years of experience in project or process managementExcellent communication skills in both English and ChineseCandidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
