In this role, you will support the Audit Manager/GFC with key internal audit activities, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the development of a robust audit framework across the Group’s diverse operations.Core ResponsibilitiesConduct audit fieldwork, including tests of controls and substantive testing.Document business processes through interviews, walkthroughs, and observations.Analyse data and gather supporting evidence for audit findings.Prepare detailed audit working papers and assist with drafting audit reports.Liaise professionally with departmental teams to obtain information and clarify processes.Support annual risk assessments and the development of the audit plan.Ideal CandidateThis role is open to Fiji residents only.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years’ audit experience (strong graduates with relevant internships may be considered).Part-qualified or pursuing CIA, CPA, CA, or CIMA is an advantage.Graduate Membership with the Fiji Institute of Accountants (FIA) is highly preferred.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.High integrity, objectivity, and the ability to work independently.Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to data analytics tools is a plus.Why Join Us?A foundational opportunity to contribute to the development of the internal audit function.Strong professional development and career progression opportunities within a multi-industry organisation.Meaningful, high-impact work that enhances processes and strengthens internal controls.A supportive work environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their Resume and cover letter to hr@challengefiji.com, quoting “Audit Officer Application – (Your Name)” in the subject line.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
