Automation Developer

Location: Hybrid Client: Canadian Type: Full-time Experience: 3+ years in software/automation engineering About Us Hiring for a Canadian real estate technology company building next-generation digital systems that combine modern full-stack development, automation platforms, and AI-driven intelligence. Our tools power real estate operations, data workflows, and agent productivity across Canada. Role Overview We are looking for a Full-Stack Automation Developer with strong automation and integration expertise. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coding from scratch and building complex workflows in low/no-code environments like n8n, Make.com (Integromat), and Zapier. You’ll be responsible for connecting APIs, automating workflows, building cloud-based systems (Supabase, Airtable, etc.), and designing micro-service architectures that integrate LLMs, bots, and scraping pipelines into a cohesive automation layer. Key Responsibilities ● Design and implement automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, and Zapier. ● Build custom integrations with 3rd-party APIs (CRM, email, AI, payments, etc.). ● Implement data pipelines and scraping systems using modern tools (Playwright, Puppeteer, Requests, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy). ● Work with cloud databases (Supabase, Airtable, PostgreSQL) and connect them into automated workflows. ● Architect modular, micro-service-based systems and RESTful APIs for internal and external services. ● Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into real-time workflows, chatbots, and RAG systems. ● Manage deployments and ensure systems run reliably on cloud servers (Azure, AWS, or similar). ● Document, test, and optimize automation systems for reliability, performance, and scalability. Requirements ● 3+ years of experience in software development, automation, or systems integration. ● Expertise in React/Next.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), and REST API design. ● Proven experience building automations in n8n, Make.com, or Zapier (must be able to design complex multi-step flows). ● Strong scraping skills with up-to-date tools (e.g., Playwright, headless browsers, rotating proxies, anti-bot evasion). ● Knowledge of Supabase, Airtable, or similar cloud databases. ● Solid grasp of microservice architecture and API-driven design. ● Experience with AI/LLM integrations, webhooks, and data pipelines. ● Comfort with cloud deployment, server configuration, and CI/CD pipelines. ● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills. ● Self-starter attitude with the ability to own end-to-end projects. Nice-to-Have ● Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI function calling, or custom AI agent orchestration. ● Experience automating CRM, Stripe, or Twilio integrations. ● Exposure to Cloudflare R2, Docker, or serverless environments. ● Background in real estate data systems, or high-volume API/data workflows.
