We are looking for an experienced Automation Technical Project Manager to join our QA Team.You’ll be reporting to the QA Management team and you’ll be responsible for supporting them in various aspects, including making sure our games implement the best approach to automating QA processes, bridge the gap between all teams involved in automation efforts, get involved hands-on in delivering practical automation solutions and follow-up with all involved stakeholders on the overall progress.You’ll bring a strong technical background in Test Automation in game engines (Unity, Unreal or proprietary engines) and a deep understanding on how to implement automation at scale, to support high-quality game development and QA flows.You’ll be working with various Stakeholders, such as Technical Directors, Game Producers, Game Managers, Game Developers, Release and Operations Managers, QA Managers, QA teams, etc… to take the best decisions for building up our Automation framework.You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate competing priorities, and foster adoption of standardized automation practices across our game portfolio.You’ll apply an Entrepreneurial mindset to identify problems and/or opportunities by yourself, developing plans to address them, getting the buy in from Stakeholders and decisional factors, ultimately behaving as an internal Business Leader. Develop and implement automation strategies, goals, and policies aligned with game lifecycle milestonesBuild and drive the automation mission, vision and direction across all teamsOversee daily progress on Automation initiatives (implementation in game clients, onboarding new solutions, training teams to use Automation, etc.)Ensure projects and teams adhere to Automation roadmaps and milestonesEnsure Development Teams are aware of and adhere to Automation standards (e.g. minimum unit test coverage, automated smoke test integration in CI/CD, test data setup practices, easy SDK integration)Identify areas for automation within QA workflows (e.g. regression, smoke testing, build validation, metrics measurement)Stay updated on Automation trends and emerging technologies, advocating for them internally and supporting their integrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure Automation goals are metProvide regular updates to involved stakeholders on Automation performance, challenges, and outcomesDefine and track key Automation metrics to measure performance, ROI and identify bottlenecks (e.g. time saved per release cycle, test coverage ratio, reduction in manual bugs reported)Analyze data to make informed decisions and guide future initiativesIntegrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable development cyclesPromote best practices for maintainable and scalable automation code and frameworksCoach and mentor QA and development teams on automation adoption and standardsCreate and maintain documentation and learning materials for new tools and workflowsAdvocate for shift-left testing practices to ensure earlier bug defection and improve test coverage 3+ years’ experience in an Automation, Technical Project Manager, DevOps, SDET role in a video game development environment3+ years’ of working closely with or coordinating technical roles involved in Automation initiatives (Developers, Engineers, Scripters)Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Unity Test Framework, Unreal Automation Tool, proprietary engines frameworks; Playwright, Selenium, Appium, etc.)Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLabStrong scripting and debugging skills (C++ and Python preferred)Experience with performance, load, or stress testing toolsExperience with cloud-based test labs or virtual device farms is a plusExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsProactive and adaptable, with a passion for solving complex challenges in evolving environmentsGood overall understanding of Gaming Production & Delivery pipelinesAnalytical mindset, proactively interpreting complex data to prevent blockersSelf-motivated, positive attitude, growth mindset, solution orientedFamiliarity with industry-specific standards Why Join the World of Gameloft?Because you want to be part of an exceptional experience within a company that is constantly growing!Because you want to work with talented people who are industry pioneers!Because you want to be part of an international environment with daily contact with other countries & cultures!Because you want to work in an inclusive equal opportunity workplace!Or, just because you’re looking for a great place to work!
