RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the day-to-day activities of the accounting department. Bank deposits, banking schedule and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up to date accounts receivables and accounts payables. Prepare local and foreign payments. Prepare costings. Maintain and update accounting ledgers in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible of petty cash. Assist in the preparation of Management accounts. Prepare accounting schedules. Assist in the preparation of VAT return. Prepare other statutory returns. Inventory count reconciliations. HRDC applications and follow up. Filing and administrative tasks. Perform any other cognate duties assigned by the Head of Department or Managing Director. EXPERIENCE & PROFILE:
HSC Holder with Accounting at A Level. Experience in Accounting would be an advantage. Experience with an Accounting Software is an advantage. Computer Literate. Proficiency in MS Office software applications. Good communication Skills. Ability to work in a team. Ability to meet deadlines. Organised and proactive. Attentive to details.
