Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and validate detailed cost estimates for projects during planning and execution phases Develop and maintain project budgets and cost control procedures aligned with company policies Monitor actual project costs vs.
budget and prepare variance analysis reports Track and report on cost-related KPIs, cash flows, commitments, and earned value Support procurement in bid evaluations from a cost perspective Identify cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies Participate in the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) Provide cost input for change management and assist in impact assessment Liaise with Project Managers, Planners, and Finance teams to ensure aligned cost tracking Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders Support project close-out activities including final cost reconciliation and lessons learnedRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field Project Management (PMP) and Cost Engineering (AACE-CCP) certification is a plus Minimum 3 years of experience in cost engineering, preferably in technical or engineering projects Proficient in cost control software and ERP tools (Primavera, MS Project, SAP) Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities Proficiency in English is requiredTo apply for this opportunity, please send your CV to hr@azercosmos.
