Who are we looking for?We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in (Cairns, QLD). If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.The Essential RequirementsMin Cert IV Aeroskills (Mechanical)Demonstrated understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance, civil (Part 145)Demonstrable safety focusGood communication skillsProven ability to work in a team environment and within limited supervision.Common courtesy and customer orientation.Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job.Ability to deploy on notification nationally or internationally.Australian Citizen or with full working rights in Australia;Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,Current Australian Driver's licenceShifts run Monday to Friday across mornings and afternoons, with occasional weekend or night work when required.Additional QualificationsWe are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in (Cairns, QLD) before applying.What's in it for you?RoleAt Sigma, we place our people at the heart of everything we do.
