Baker/Bench Team Member (Full-Time)

Position Overview: Are you passionate about baking and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment? We are seeking a dedicated Baker to join our team.

In this role, you’ll be hands-on in producing a wide variety of high-volume, high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cookies. What You’ll Be DoingMaking individual baked goods like Danish, cinnamon rolls, coffeecakes, and nut rolls, with various doughs and fillings. Assisting in the production of hand-rolled pretzel and filled donuts. Using a reversible sheeter to cut out a variety of specialty cookies, such as gingerbread and shortbread. Ensuring baked goods meet our high standards for quality, weight, appearance, and size. Maintaining an organized and clean workspace.

We’re Looking ForA passion for baking and creating exceptional products. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and presentation skills. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Reliability to consistently work a set schedule. RequirementsMust be 18 years or older. High School Diploma or GED required; previous scratch bakery experience or baking/pastry education is a plus, but not necessary. Ability to stand and actively move throughout your shift, as well as the ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable working around varying temperatures, including heat from ovens and cold from coolers/freezers. Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Pay: $14-$16/hour, based on experienceBenefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k), short-term disability, AFLAC, life insurance, and paid time off.
