As a Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for performing the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Develops an operational year plan for own manufacturing activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures. As a Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for: Executing production according to the appropriate instructions. Exchanging data and information, interaction concerns and improvements in products, processes and procedures. Handling standardised manufacturing processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.

Leading a small manufacturing unit with a budget > $ 0. 5 million. Coordinating and expediting the flow of materials within departments according to production schedules. Planning and scheduling material/production needs. Positions requiring understanding of concepts, methods and procedures, applying concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolving issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Coordinating and executing scheduling activities for customer orders using an advanced planning systemEnsuring that the shop has the necessary materials, configuration records and manpower to meet required manufacturing/production levelsMaintaining & managing the planning trackerReleasing work orders to the Warehouse and Shop floorMonitoring implementation of corrective action plansProviding effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware/tooling availability, and status of schedulesMonitoring supply and demand misalignment using an advanced planning system, and collaborating with manufacturing sources to implement corrective action plansCoordinating the efforts of cross-functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues, and shop capacityWorking with shop management to meet order delivery commitmentsInitiating final equipment inspection and packaging processesPreparing monthly and quarterly production schedules.

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role, you will: Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college. Have at least 4 years of experience in Industrial Valve (Control & Safety Relief) Manufacturing.
