Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Baker, located in Swellendam. The Baker will be responsible for daily baking tasks, including preparing dough, baking bread, and creating a variety of baked goods such as cookies and pastries. Responsibilities also include ensuring high-quality food preparation standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaboration with other team members and a focus on excellent customer service is essential for this role. Qualifications Proficiency in Bakery and Baking processes, with an ability to follow recipes and maintain product consistencyExperience in Food Preparation, including handling ingredients, measuring, and operating baking equipmentSkills in creating baked products such as Cookies and Bread with attention to detail and qualityStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring health and safety compliancePrior experience in a professional baking environment and knowledge of food hygiene standards is beneficialHigh school diploma or equivalent; a culinary or baking qualification is an advantage
