The Investment Banking Analyst is responsible for providing strategic advisory services for clients and execute mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions as well as assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets.Responsibilities:Work with senior Banking officers and professionals and assist senior bankers in particular client transactions projects or assignments as part of the junior member of the Investment Banking teamResponsible for organizing and analysing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plansPrepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live dealsConduct economic/financial researchEvaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trendsBuild complex financial models for valuation purposesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:1-2 years of relevant experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlinesExperience creating financial analysisFluent in at least one Nordic language and EnglishEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
