Banking Senior Analyst - Officer

The Banking Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Banking Senior Analyst also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.Responsibilities:Create different reports on client level data and assist in running the client level profitability report on a monthly basis for different productsWork with global business advisory team, which is part of the Prime finance divisionCreate reports on various aspects of fund movement for hedge funds and other large asset management fundsAssist with creating a master data repository for multiple client level dimensions and identify meaningful insightsProvide teams with requested data, analysis, or reports in a timely fashionProvide assistance in ensuring presentation data is comprehensiveCreate presentations based on conversation with partnersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:0-2 years of relevant experienceExperience in Quantitative AnalysisBasic knowledge of market products such as Equities, Credit, and RatesFundamental knowledge of SQL/BO QueriesExperience with Coalition, Oliver Wyman, GreenwichProficient in Microsoft OfficeProven ability to perform various concurrent activities/project in a high-risk environmentConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated influencing and relationship management skillsRespect for information confidentialityDemonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environmentEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
