Bar Manager

Location: Benin City, Edo StateEmployment Type: Full-timeReports To: General Manager Gross Salary: ₦200,000 + Accommodation About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and lounge area. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, smooth floor operations, and an engaging atmosphere that aligns with our brand standards. You will lead the team to deliver an unforgettable experience for every guest.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily bar and floor operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reporting.Monitor inventory levels, manage stock ordering, and minimize waste or shortages.Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to quality and presentation standards.Manage bar setup, display, and maintenance of the ambiance and cleanliness.Train, and supervise bartenders, waitstaff, and floor attendants.Prepare staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and labor cost efficiency.Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.Support in budgeting, cost control, and achieving sales targets.Track daily sales, control expenses, and ensure profitability.Work with management to plan and execute promotions, special events, and theme nights.Report maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.RequirementsProven experience as a Bar Manager, Floor Manager, or similar hospitality role.Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
