Job Description

About this role: Maintenance Management: Developing and implementing maintenance schedules for all plant and equipment. Overseeing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Managing repairs, including scheduling, cost estimation, and ensuring quality of work. Maintaining an asset register of all equipment. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits. Logistics Management: Planning and coordinating the movement of materials, and equipment to and from construction sites. Managing inventory of construction materials and supplies. Optimizing logistics processes to minimize downtime and reduce costs. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites.

Personnel Management: Supervising and leading a team of maintenance technicians, drivers, and logistics personnel. Providing training and development opportunities for staff. Conducting performance evaluations and addressing any disciplinary issues. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all operations comply with relevant health and safety regulations. Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures. Conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans. Budget Management: Tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Preparing reports for the commercial team. Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions. Information Security responsibilities:

Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilitiesEnsure all personnel handling sensitive data are trained in Security Awareness. Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec). Never disable the OS firewall and/or AntivirusRestrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords. Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentialityQualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in construction or related industry. Proven experience in plant and equipment maintenance, logistics, managementStrong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations. Proficiency in relevant software and systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
