Planning Specialist

Senior Planning SpecialistReports to Planning Manager Job Purpose: Senior Planning Specialist is to manage the daily planning for purchase order of local items to ensure smooth operations and assist Planning Manager in managing the production and material planning to ensure the availability and delivery of the right product at the right time. Key Accountabilities: ReplenishmentAssists Planning Manager within defined Demand, Supply and Inventory Planning accountabilities and tasks. Verify input material need and availability for all production requirements (i. e. ingredients, packaging) and directs Purchasing team to procure items to meet production schedules.

Update and maintain parameter of stock keeping units in ERP for new or phased out items for optimized data consolidation in planning and purchasing process. Attend and execute internal customer's urgencies in demand variations by expediting raw materials. Lead the root cause analysis and action plan implementation to prevent future inventory loses. Generate reports associated with Inventory at risk and Inventory loss. Assess forecast of finished goods given by line manager and plan orders to mitigate impact on stock level. Perform weekly detailed inventory analysis and submit to line manager.

Closely monitor inventory levels and highlight and/or coordinate with Purchasing team for replenishments. Update and maintain status of International orders including payment trackers and submit to line manager on weekly basisEvaluate stock volume and coordinate with purchasing team for short/ excess quantity delivered by suppliers to maintain balanced stock levels. Proactively monitor and adapts the stock level of items based on seasonal variation in consumption for efficient operation in the warehouse.
