SummaryReporting to the Supply Chain Officer, the objective of the function is to purchase the products and services that BIA CĂ´te d'Ivoire needs, by negotiating the best conditions of price, quality, deadlines and after-sales service and make them available to internal company users.
What will be your responsibilities?Identify all the suppliers and service providers present on the markets, likely to meet the defined specifications (sourcing). Evaluate these service providers and suppliers: nature of the service delivered, customer references, size of the service provider, financial health, good understanding of BIA CI's needs. Select suppliers to obtain the best quality/price ratio. Organize calls for tenders and/or auctions in order to select the appropriate service providers and suppliersTry to obtain the most advantageous purchasing conditions possible (Quality, price, quantities available, delivery times, etc. ).
Convince his supplier of the interest of having him as a customer. Assist the Supply Chain Officer to carry out a diagnosis of supply needsEstablish purchase orders on the basis of purchase orders validated by the applicants. Ensure receipt of various purchases and verify compliance with the purchase order. Check and validate invoices from service providers and suppliers before transmission to the financial department for payment. Carry out the inventory and the overall order of office supplies, purchases of cleaning products and supplies.
Who are we looking for?Academic training of BAC +2 level minimum in Commerce, Logistics or any other related disciplineGood knowledge of the different methods of consulting service providers and suppliers (tenders, sourcing, etc. )Able to develop a partnership relationship with suppliersExcellent command of negotiation techniques.
