Join us.Job DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Draftsman with strong expertise in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to support the design and preparation of detailed drawings for stormwater, sewerage, and microtunneling projects. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of UAE experience, particularly with RTA and DM-approved projects, and a solid understanding of local authority standards and utility coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD.Interpret design inputs from engineers and accurately translate them into detailed and coordinated construction drawings.Review, update, and maintain drawings in compliance with project specifications, authority requirements (RTA, DM, DEWA), and AECOM quality standards.Track and verify existing sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as-built records from Drainage (DS), Irrigation (IRR), and Roads projects.Conduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to verify construction progress and collect accurate data for as-built documentation.Coordinate closely with engineers, inspectors, and document control teams to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings.Update and prepare redline markups, section details, pipeline profiles, and microtunneling shaft layouts based on field data.Maintain a well-organized archive and digital record system for all project drawings and revisions.Review contractors’ as-built and shop drawing submissions to verify compliance with actual site conditions.Provide technical drafting support during construction to ensure drawings reflect approved changes and actual site execution.Support the preparation of utility coordination drawings, ensuring accuracy across multiple services and avoiding conflicts.Ensure all drawing deliverables meet AECOM and authority CAD standards, including layering, scaling, and title block consistency.QualificationsQualificationsDiploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or CAD Design from a recognized institution.Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D drafting software (latest versions).Knowledge of RTA, DM, DEWA, and other authority drafting standards for infrastructure projects.Familiarity with survey data integration, GIS, and utility coordination is an advantage.Experience RequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure drafting, particularly for stormwater, sewerage, and microtunneling projects.Proven experience in preparing as-built drawings, utility layouts, and pipeline profiles.Prior UAE experience, preferably within Dubai, involving RTA and DM-approved projects.Additional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
