Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Technician Cadet, located in Rockhampton, QLD. The Biomedical Technician Cadet will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Additionally, the role involves documenting service records, managing inventory, and supporting senior biomedical technicians with various projects. Qualifications Technical skills in maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of safety standards and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsPrevious experience in a healthcare setting is advantageousAn Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
