Bioprocess Technician

Known for its commitment to safety, compliance, and innovation in engineering and manufacturing environments.About the RoleAs an Bioprocess Technician, you will be responsible for developing and refining vaccine formulations and manufacturing processes, with a strong emphasis on freeze drying (lyophilisation). You’ll independently run experiments, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to both bacterial fermentation and virus/cell culture processes.Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments to optimise vaccine production and freeze drying cycles- Develop formulations for freeze-dried products- Perform and develop analytical methods (e.g. DSC, freeze dry microscopy)- Document experiments, write protocols and technical reports- Support lab equipment qualification, maintenance, and procedure writing- Assist with general lab duties- Actively contribute ideas and feedback within project teams- Take initiative and expand responsibilities post-onboardingRequirements- HBO, BSc or MSc in Life Sciences, Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related field- Technical affinity with freeze drying; prior experience preferred but not required- Independent and proactive work style- Fluent in Dutch or English- Strong analytical and documentation skillsOther InformationOpportunity for growth within the company and training is provided
