Are you a Senior Scientist working in the selection and characterization of bakery enzymes?We’re working in partnership with our client, a global R&D innnovation centre to search for a senior expert in this fieldResponsibilities:Lead enzyme-based research projects from concept to applicationCollaborate with global partners, suppliers, universities, and technology providersYour expertise will drive commercial success and leading edge food technology innovationWork in world class lab facilities with state of the art equipment and supportWhat you’ll do:Design and lead enzyme and ingredient research for bakery applicationsGuide and coach lab technicians, interns and test bakersLead and contribute to projects improving current and developing new bakery solutionsTranslate technical findings into commercial opportunities and IP-secured innovationsSupport knowledge transfer across teams and regions through training, coaching, and collaborationPresent research outcomes with clarity and commercial relevance to internal and externalstakeholdersWhat you’ll bring:MSc or PhD in Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related fieldStrong experience in applied bakery enzyme industry research, with strong commercial focus (essential)Deep understanding of functional ingredients and industrial baking processesThis is a rare opportunity for a seasoned applied scientist to take ownership of meaningful R&D work in an international innovation environment—one that values integrity, collaboration, and bold thinking.
