Role OverviewThe Lead- Student Success & Engagement will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance student engagement, retention, academic success, and overall well-being across online undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This role will focus on data-driven student support, proactive intervention strategies, academic coaching, faculty collaboration, and cocurricular and extra-curricular initiatives to ensure high persistence and program completion rates. Location : Gurgaon/BangalorePrincipal Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesStudent Success Strategy & Program DevelopmentDevelop and lead student success strategies focused on engagement, persistence, and retention through data-driven early interventions and support initiatives.
Academic Support & PersistenceCollaborate with faculty and support teams to strengthen academic success frameworks, mentorship programs, and wellness initiatives addressing academic stress and mental health. Student Engagement InitiativesDesign and implement virtual engagement programs including clubs, leadership forums, hackathons, cultural events, competitions, and social impact projects to foster community and holistic development. Data-Driven InsightsLeverage analytics to monitor student engagement, track KPIs for success and retention, and provide actionable insights to leadership for continuous improvement. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with academic, admissions, IT, and technology teams to embed success strategies across the student lifecycle and enhance the learning experience.
Student Support & OutreachLead proactive outreach and personalized support through a dedicated team, while building resources, workshops, and an inclusive, supportive virtual campus culture. Continuous Improvement & InnovationRefine student success frameworks through feedback, data, and innovation, exploring emerging technologies like AI tutoring, gamification, and adaptive learning toolsOther Skill and Ability RequirementsTechnology Proficiency: Familiarity with LMS platforms, CRM systems, and learning analytics dashboards. Strong Communication & Leadership: Excellent ability to present data insights, influence decision-making, and mentor teamsProven ability to design and implement scalable student success initiatives.
Qualification MBA is preferred10-15 years of work experienceRelevant experience in student services & support, advising, retention strategy experience at Learning & Development departments of leading Tech companies or in higher education or EdTech companies
