About This OpportunityPrimary manager to the Operations Manager through bi-annual performance reviews.Supervise the Operations Manager and manage comprehensive annual reporting processes.Responsible for Annual Reporting RequirementsLead Strategic Plan development and review, ensuring alignment with the organisation's long-term vision.Facilitate effective Board meetings and timely, strategic decision-making.Oversee all governance duties, ensuring strict financial adherence, and regulatory compliance.Drive Board recruitment and member development, actively seeking diverse and skilled individuals.Support sustainable workload policies and robust operational frameworks for all staff and volunteers.Lead funding diversification and sponsorship efforts to secure the organisation's financial future.Champion critical policy development and ensure their effective implementation across the organisation.Act as primary spokesperson, representing ESP's mission and values to all stakeholders.Maintain transparent and consistent Board-staff communication to foster a trusting environment.Delegate strategic tasks with clear ownership and monitor progress to ensure accountability.RequirementsWorking with Children CheckNational Police CertificateWorking with Vulnerable People CheckDriver's LicenceAdditional RequirementsSelection Criteria: Commitment to ESP’s objectives and core values Highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Ability to lead an organisational committee Ability to meet time deadlines and organise and collate relevant data and reports Computer literacy Current Working with Vulnerable People / Child Related Activity card – or the ability to obtain one  Ability to obtain a police check satisfactory to the organisationID: 231949OrganisationEarly Support For ParentsCategoryCommunity ServicesLocationN/ATime requiredRegular - more than 6 monthsDays: WeekdaysTimes: Afternoons20 hours per month, including commitment to Monthly Board Meetings held on the second Tuesday of the month via TEAMS from 12:00pm - 1:00pm; committee meetings as required and out of session work and reading.TrainingAs identifiedReimbursementsExpenses as approvedSuitable forSkilled VolunteersType of workAccounting & FinanceGovernance, Boards & CommitteesAdministration & Office Management
