ETL Developer - SQL Data Migration Analyst

We’re seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with strong SSIS and ETL experience to join a large-scale data-migration and integration program. You’ll play a key role across multiple system transitions—working closely with data, application, and testing teams to ensure that data moves accurately, efficiently, and securely between platforms.This position suits someone who enjoys hands-on SQL delivery, validation, and performance tuning, rather than purely design-level engineering work. You’ll be the go-to person for executing and optimising SQL and ETL processes throughout migration, testing, and go-live phases.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the SQL SME for database and ETL execution activities across complex data-migration projects.Execute, validate, and optimise SQL code and SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading between source and target systems.Conduct data reconciliation and metadata validation to ensure end-to-end integrity.Troubleshoot and resolve SQL and ETL issues quickly during dress rehearsals and production cutovers.Drive performance tuning for queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and readiness for each release cycle.Skills & ExperienceAdvanced Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) skills: scripting, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimisation.Strong SSIS experience—executing, monitoring, and debugging complex ETL workflows.Demonstrated background in data migration, integration, or system consolidation projects.Solid grasp of data mapping, transformation logic, and metadata management.Proven ability to operate under tight delivery windows and manage high-volume data workloads.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality outcomes.
