The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with creative flair, ensuring that every book’s interior design complements its genre, tone, and target audience. Key Responsibilities- Design and format interior layouts for both print (PDF) and eBook (EPUB, MOBI) versions of manuscripts.- Apply appropriate typography, spacing, and layout principles for optimal readability.- Collaborate with authors, editors, and cover designers to ensure consistency in design and branding.- Prepare files that meet the specifications of various publishing platforms (Amazon KDP, Kobo, IngramSpark, etc.).- Incorporate illustrations, graphics, or tables where necessary and ensure proper alignment and image quality.- Conduct quality checks to eliminate formatting errors before publication.- Manage multiple book projects with efficiency and attention to details as well as keeping to deadlines.Required Qualifications and Skills- Proven experience designing book interiors for both fiction and nonfiction titles.- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (essential); familiarity with Affinity Publisher or other layout tools is a plus.- Solid understanding of print publishing standards (bleed, trim, margins, page numbering, etc.).- Knowledge of eBook formatting and conversion processes.- Strong sense of typography, hierarchy, and aesthetic balance.- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality design outputs.- Ability to communicate effectively and take creative feedback positively.- Experience working with hybrid or independent publishers.To Apply:Send an application with the subject line "Book Interior Designer" to hr@clasier.pub, and attach your CV and your portfolio showcasing past book design projects.Application Deadline:30 October, 2025
