This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our mission of excellence at Bredin Brothers Inc.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Receivable: Enter and process vendor invoices, client invoicing, collections, deposits, and progress drawsPayroll: Administer biweekly payroll and source deductionsReconciliations: Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliationsReporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, job costing summaries, cash flow statements, and support management with weekly dashboardsCompliance: File HST, WSIB, source deductions, and other government remittancesVendor & Client Communication: Address billing inquiries and liaise with sub-trades and suppliersRecords Management: Maintain accurate and organized financial records in QuickBooks Online and BuildertrendYear-End Support: Prepare working papers and reports for the external CPA firmConfidentiality: Handle all financial data with discretion and professionalismQualificationsCollege or university diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration (required)CPB designation or professional bookkeeping certification (preferred)2+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience (construction industry experience is an asset)Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Buildertrend or similar software is an asset)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join UsBe a key member of a growing residential construction companyCompetitive salary: $55,000–$65,000+, depending on experience and credentialsMonday–Friday schedule (no regular weekend work)Collaborative, supportive work environment with opportunity to growJob Type: Full-time
