This position involves managing invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive team and contribute to the ongoing success of a well-established company.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoicing & PaymentsPrepare and issue invoices to retailers and clients.Monitor incoming payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate posting of sales receipts.Manage supplier payments and maintain up-to-date vendor records to support efficient cash flow.Reconciliations & ReportingPerform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.Investigate and resolve payment or account discrepancies promptly and accurately.Stakeholder SupportServe as the first point of contact for finance-related queries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.Provide clear, timely updates on invoices, payments, and account status.Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the Head of Finance when required.General Accounts SupportAssist with data preparation for VAT returns and statutory compliance reporting.Maintain organised and compliant financial documentation in accordance with company policies.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations.Key RequirementsPrevious experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is desirable but not essential.Ideal for a driven, ambitious graduate with a genuine desire to grow professionally and develop a long-term career within the company.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including the use of formulas and data analysis tools.Experience with Sage accounting software is highly advantageous (training can be provided).Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical and organisational skills.Ability to work well within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.Why Join ZECO?At Zeco, you’ll be part of a trusted, long-established British brand built on family values and integrity.
