We take pride in offering regular wellness activities, a quarterly makeup stipend, and much more!POSITION SUMMARYThe Brand and Product Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategy and execution for Rare Beauty’s color and complexion categories, driving go-to-market plans for both new launches and core products. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership—collaborating closely with Creative, Product Development, Consumer Marketing, PR/Influencer, Partnerships, Retail Marketing, Sales, Education, Visual Merchandising, etc. to bring each launch to life from concept to shelf. Reporting to the Interim Director of Brand and Product Marketing, this person is a creative and analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative with confidence and curiosity. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in color and complexion, strong project management skills, and a passion for telling meaningful product stories that connect with our community.RESPONSIBILITIESLead cross-functional project management for all new innovation product launches managing go to market deliverables across product development, creative, consumer marketing, sales, education, regulatory, etc. Own and maintain the detailed marketing launch timeline, including critical path tracking and milestone communication to ensure timely and coordinated execution.Serve as the central point of contact and category expert, ensuring internal teams (Creative, Consumer Marketing, Social, PR/Influencer, PD, Education, Retail Marketing, Sales, etc.) have the information and assets needed to activate effectively.Partner with the Education team to ensure product marketing and training materials are aligned, accurate, and on brand. Own the development of product messaging, claims language, and marketing copy in partnership with the Product Development, Creative & Copy, Regulatory & Claims Teams and Interim Director. Brief cross-functional teams on product storytelling and asset needs, ensuring all launch materials are on-brand, accurate, and delivered on time.Manage 360° activation across retailer and digital touchpoints—gondolas, digital assets, and product detail page content—using customer insights to enhance product storytelling and engagementDrive post-launch analysis and maintain competitive awareness by monitoring category trends, industry shifts, and competitor activity and analyze consumer trends, category insights, and the competitive landscape to guide product positioning and marketing strategy.Develop strategic marketing plans to support core always on strategy, driving continued brand love and ensuring they remain top of mind with our community.Manage and mentor one direct report, providing clear guidance, feedback, and development opportunities to support her growth and success.Work closely with sales and retail/trade marketing teams to ensure cohesive in-store and online execution Partner with global marketing teams to ensure campaign consistency and local market relevance Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS5–6 years of experience in brand or product marketing within the beauty industry, with deep expertise in color and/or complexion categories.Proven track record of leading end-to-end product launches from concept through launch.Strong understanding of product storytelling, claims development, and the creative process.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strategic thinker who can zoom out on big-picture brand storytelling while staying close to executional details.Naturally curious and proactive, always seeking new insights, trends, and opportunities to innovate.Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and communicates clearly across departments.Passionate about Rare Beauty’s mission and excited to help create products that inspire confidence and self-acceptance.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
