Building Engineer

As a Building Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our commercial/residential properties. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for tenants and visitors.Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.Respond promptly to tenant requests and emergencies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and installations.Monitor building systems and implement energy conservation measures to reduce operational costs.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, and prepare reports as needed.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Assist with capital improvement projects and renovations as required.Participate in regular meetings with property management team to discuss operational issues and improvement initiatives.Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, equipment rooms, and common areas.Requirements:Graduate of Mechanical or Civil EngineeringAt least 2-3 years experience in the same roleProven experience as a Building Engineer or similar role, preferably in commercial or residential property management.Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.Willing to work from Monday to Saturday
