Position: Senior Business Analyst - Data GovernanceLocation: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 3 Days/ Week Onsite)Contract: 12 Months with possible extensionJob Description:Markets Program Management and Execution’s Data Solutions Group is crucial for identifying and delivering strategic data solutions for Consent Order remediation. This role is accountable for transforming data governance, modernizing infrastructure, and streamlining the Data Operating Model to ensure Markets Business Domains adhere to Client's Data Governance Policy and possess effective data management tools. The Lead will collaborate extensively with senior management and various cross-functional teams (Technology, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance) to achieve critical Data Governance outcomes and support Article V Consent Order, requiring strong interpersonal, data analysis, and project management skills to navigate complex initiatives under tight deadlines.Required SkillsStrategic & Analytical AcumenStrong business analysis and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of shaping opportunities through conceptual thinking.Ability to balance strategic "big picture" thinking with meticulous attention to detail, optimizing processes for efficiency and continuous improvement.Quickly grasp and master new concepts, requirements, and related product/functional knowledge.Project & Program LeadershipExceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage initiatives through direct and matrix reporting lines, driving results across global operations and technology organizations.Expertise in project and program management, including end-to-end planning, risk management, and the ability to gain consensus and drive initiatives to completion.Hands-on experience in designing and implementing structured business/operational processes and developing comprehensive business requirements documentation.Communication & InfluenceSuperior verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering effective messages to diverse audiences, from technical colleagues to senior management.Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions, build consensus, influence stakeholders, and mobilize cross-functional teams in a co-operative and collaborative environment.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire and motivate delivery across trading, support, infrastructure, and control functions.Preferred Skills & ExperienceData Lineage and Architecture experience a plus.Experience on regulatory programs preferred.Markets knowledge (e.g., risk and controls, trade lifecycle, products, etc.) a plus.Big 4 experience preferred but not required.EducationBachelor's degree in business, data or information management related discipline preferred or equivalent experience in related field.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
