Operations Manager

Manager, OperationsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Operations to assist in executing the performance optimization of a high-value, diversified real estate portfolio in Toronto. This portfolio includes over 1,000 multifamily units, 80,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 250+ key full-service hotel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving asset value, maximizing returns, and ensuring operational excellence across all asset classes. This role is ideal for a real estate professional who thrives in a dynamic, performance-driven environment and brings cross-functional knowledge of both hospitality and residential real estate operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Oversight: Supervise site level team members (Leasing, Concierge, Maintenance) driving high service standards and building a positive culture.Operational excellence: Identify inefficiencies in site processes and work with property management to build and execute superior SOPs and processes.Performance Management: Monitor asset performance against budget, and handle reporting regarding leasing as well as operational KPIs. Identify and implement opportunities to improve NOI and long-term value.Hotel Asset Management: Support corporate hotel asset management team with hotel coverage. Participate in site inspections, tracking competitive set, annual budgeting and capital planning processes.Multifamily & Commercial Oversight: Analyze rent rolls, leasing activity, turnover, and capital expenditures across the multifamily and commercial portfolio.Financial Modeling & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow models and champion streamlined reporting to Executive. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with third-party property managers, hotel operators, leasing agents, and internal finance teams to ensure alignment and accountability.Capital Projects: Assist in the oversight of major renovations, repositioning, and value-add initiatives. Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.Vendor and Contract Management: Review contracts and ensure vendor performance meets standards and pricing expectations Resident Experience: Champion resident engagement programs, review NPS/resident feedback, and ensure quick resolution of escalated issues.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in real estate management, with a strong track record in multifamily and/or hotel assets.Strong operational background, with expertise in managing high performing teams Excellent understanding of P&L statements and operational drivers.Strong communicator and ownership mindset — proactive, financially literate, and able to promote a positive culture. Familiarity with commercial lease structures and tenant negotiations is an asset.Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for operational efficiency and investment performance.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.competitive salary and bonus plan.
