Our ERV/HRV products are marketed under the Lifebreath brand name.Job SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for material handling functions throughout the plant or warehouse ensuring that all mate-rials are stored and organized in proper storage areas in preparation for morning production.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible daily for material handling functions throughout the plantResponsible for verification of requisitions for accuracy of product and accurate countResponsible for delivery of materials to staging area for inspectionEnsure proper reporting of any discrepancies of materials and maintain inventory records using RF Smart scannersResponsible for preparation of the mainline assembly workstations with validating the raw materialsDelivery of the wrappers to designated assembly lines as they become available from the metal shopDispense metal materials to their home locations as they become available from the metal shopConsolidate any packaging at the package station to clear clutter and maintain 5SConsolidate skids and cardboard spacers to their home locations and dock areaResponsible for wrapping any finished goods and stage on dock for transportation to warehouseResponsible for the inventory accuracy/organization both throughout the plant/warehouse and in delegated areas, monitoring inventory levels reporting shortages to procurementMust have forklift experience and responsible for daily safety check of forklift and vehicles and to safely drive equipment in a safe mannerResponsible for timely delivery of materialsResponsible to report any damages done to equipment or materials in a timely mannerResponsible for managing appropriate inventory of skidsTo work co-operatively and communicate effectively with co-workersSeeking direction as needed from Warehouse Supervisor, Production Leaders and co-workersMust be able to respond to tight deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last minute demands and requirements; many short-term competing deadlines/subject to many interruptionsQualifications/Skills/ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environmentPost-secondary education in logistics or manufacturing an assetBasic computer skills with familiarity in ERP or warehouse management systemsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in verifying materials and countsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesHow To ApplyApplicants are invited to submit their resume by email to hr@airiabrands.com.
