Position: Business Analyst - Finance & Other functions Work location: Bangkok, SM Tower BuildingJob PurposeThe Business Analyst is a critical role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating requirements into actionable plans for project teams.Job Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation and Documentation Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs. Translate high-level business goals into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. Create comprehensive requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories. Business Process Analysis Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Model and document existing and proposed business processes using techniques such as BPMN. Collaborate with process owners to streamline workflows and optimize operations. Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Solution Evaluation and Recommendation Evaluate potential solutions and technologies to address business challenges. Provide recommendations based on cost-benefit analysis and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements. Change Management and Stakeholder Communication Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams. Manage change requests and communicate changes to all relevant parties. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders. Assist in the development of change management plans. Testing and Quality Assurance Support in developing test plans and test cases based on business requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements. Documentation and Training Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation for end-users. Involved in conducting training sessions and workshops for end-users. Ensure end-users are proficient in using new systems and processes.Education/Training Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology). Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA etc.) is advantageous.Experience 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles. Strong proficiency in requirement elicitation and documentation.
