This position is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite at our client’s Montreal office.Analyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst - Job Description:This role is pivotal in supporting the definition and introduction of FinOps practices across the organization to drive effective public cloud cost management. It involves developing robust cost transparency mechanisms, optimization, and financial controls to ensure cloud investments deliver maximum business value.Analyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst - Responsibilities:• Drive adoption of Cloud FinOps capabilities and best practices within the organization• Develop cost management processes, mechanisms, and controls for transparency and governance• Articulate the value of public cloud adoption use cases to business and technology teams• Provide commercial insights for strategic vendor engagements• Identify and support execution of cost-saving and optimization opportunities• Track cost optimization actions and associated value• Manage vendor commercial incentives like Reserved Instances and Savings Plans• Monitor ongoing cost management compliance• Drive cross-functional engagement through training and communicationsAnalyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:• Experience in a technology department with a focus on financial management• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts• Experience with public cloud cost management tools• Experience in financial analysis and large datasets• Strong presentation skills for business and technology stakeholders• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience in IT cost management strategies and tools• Experience with business chargeback and cost recovery models• Understanding of cloud billing processes and procedures• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP cost mechanics• FinOps / TBM certificationsAnalyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst – Assignment Length:This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.Analyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst - Start Date:ASAP.Analyste d'affaires / Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) Business Analyst - Assignment Location:Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
