Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you play a critical role in ensuring we are building the right products and processes to continuously improve the customer experience. Acting as the link between business and information technology partners, you will work with the business to identify ways to improve operational processes and the customer experience through active listening, asking 'Why' questions, and all the while building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across different departments.Here Are a Few Ways You'll Make a DifferenceWork with key stakeholders to apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projectsYou will identify and own requirements and act as the alternate go-to source for an agile team.Work with the product design and/or customer experience designers to translate vision into specifications based on roadmapsFacilitate workshops to document current business processes and technical systems; identify areas of opportunity to gain efficiencies and enhance the customer experienceWrite clear agile stories that help propel engineering work with the help of the product design teamObtain and consolidate feedback from various key stakeholdersGuide and co-ordinate the planning, designing, execution and validation of the test cases with the users and ensure that the user tests comply with the established standards and practicesAssist with change management planning and deliveryAssess and document impacts and plan for risk mitigationCommunicate project progress to stakeholdersSupport PO in maximizing engagement and efficiency of the teamProduce any documentation required to help move product/process forwardParticipate in planning, demos, committees and retrospectivesExecute roadmaps based on client feedback and analytics insightsCo-ordinate and manage warranty supportYour SkillsBachelor's degree or a combination of education & relevant experience will be considered5 to 8 years of experience as a Business AnalystStrong ability to work with and influence all levels of leadershipExperience in process reengineering and prior business transformation experienceExperience reviewing/documenting work processes and working with operational teams to improve on work processesExperience working in an agile Scrum / matrix environment an assetExcellent oral and written communication skillsP&C Insurance and claims experience an assetStrong Presentation and facilitation skills - skilled at PPT and VisioPrior Business Analyst experience an assetPrior Design Thinking and Customer Journey mapping experience an assetLean/Six Sigma experience or accreditation an assetBilingual an asset
