Time AnalystPay Rate: $51.72/hour, depending on experienceContract Length: 8 months Location: Calgary, AlbertaRaise is currently hiring a Time Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and MexicoNote: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.DescriptionThe Time Analyst in this role will be responsible for overseeing and auditing time tracking, vacation, and leave data across multiple jurisdictions. This role ensures accurate time entry, adherence to employment standards, and smooth integration with payroll systemResponsibilitiesTime Entry AuditsConduct weekly and bi-weekly audits for employees on leave, banked time, holiday pay and student time entries.Vacation & Time Management:Manage vacation, personal, and banked time for Canadian and the U.S. (non-union) employees, including international assignees, LTD/STD leaves, students, part-time employees, special leave cases, and other unique situations.Audit and reconcile employee time data in SAP and Workday to ensure accuracy and complianceCoordinate with Payroll to ensure correct payouts and deductions for vacation and other time-off scenariosSchedule Management:Update and audit work schedules in SAP and Workday.Verify overtime eligibility and exemption status.Integration Monitoring:Monitor and resolve INT079 and INT070 integration failures.Policy Compliance:Apply union and non-union employment practices appropriatelyEnsure adherence to time-off codes and vacation payout procedures.Support for Leaders & EmployeesAssist leaders with time approval issues, especially during reorganizations or system access changesRespond to employee and leader inquiries about vacation, personal time, time entry errors, and system usageReporting & Documentation:Maintain detailed process documentation and audit logs.Generates reports for internal stakeholders (e.g., vacation balances, time coding summary)Communicate reminders and updates to stakeholders.Qualifications4 years of experience with a proven history of auditing and reconciling large datasets to ensure accuracy and compliance with large-scale HR systemsExceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Proficient in SAP and Workday time tracking modules.Ability to interpret and apply employment practices and union agreements.Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across Payroll and HRIS teams.Education and Skills Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Experience with the following Tools & Systems:SAP HRWorkdayMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)ServiceNowSharePointLooking for meaningful work?
