OverviewProvide end-to-end insights on Area business performance versus budget, forecast, and market trends. This role orchestrates the Rhythm of the Business (RoB), ensuring alignment on budgets, forecasts, and executive summaries. Drive forward-looking conversations across Finance, Go-To-Market teams, and business leaders with strong executive communication to deliver actionable insights and execution.The BAM partners with segment controllers and product finance analysts to triangulate whitespace opportunities and deepen customer understanding.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Simplify processes using AI and standard frameworks; actively engage in global finance communities.PartnershipApply Modern BI and predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and business dialogue.Translate complex data into forward-looking narratives and actionable plans.Collaborate on automation and leverage advanced technology for deeper analysis.Provide clear, compelling performance narratives for executive reviews.Develop strategies to mitigate macroeconomic and geopolitical risks; offer solutions aligned with organizational objectives.ProtectMonitor and maintain robust accounting policies, controls, and compliance processes.Ensure accurate financial infrastructure for statutory, regulatory, and non-financial reporting.QualificationsRequired/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience3+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.Japanese business language preferred Additional Or Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.3+ years work experience in matrix-based organization.3+ years work experience in the technology or software industry.This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
