About The RoleOur Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to lead a high-impact initiative to replace the department’s existing substitute placement and absence management system.This role is central to ensuring the successful transition to a modern, compliant, and efficient solution that enhances operational performance across education and early childhood programs.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping to assess current workflows, integrations, and pain points. Document business, functional, and technical requirements with full traceability using a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Support RFP creation, develop evaluation criteria, coordinate vendor communications, and prepare recommendation reports. Build and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure collaboration across business, IT, and vendor teams. Work with vendors and technical teams on configuration, testing, migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Develop user guides, training materials, and communication plans to support change management and system adoption. Oversee go-live activities, stabilize operations, and document lessons learned and improvement recommendations. Must-Have RequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience managing or coordinating multi-stakeholder projects involving business, technical, and vendor teams. Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation (process maps, requirements specs, project plans, risk registers). Experience working within recognized project management or business analysis methodologies (BABOK, PMI, Agile, Waterfall). Strong facilitation, analytical, and communication skills in English. Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst leading system replacement or modernization projects, including requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation support. Preferred ExperienceExperience leading system replacement or modernization projects in large enterprises or government settings. Familiarity with structured procurement and public sector RFP processes. Strong coordination and reporting skills with the ability to manage dependencies and align cross-functional teams. Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent training in business analysis or project management.
