Business Analyst (Remote)

Position: Business AnalystLocation : RemoteExperience: Minimum 5+ Years in Business AnalysisAbout the RoleWe are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our growing team. If you thrive in dynamic environments and have strong analytical and communication skills, we’d love to connect with you.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Analysis• Lead requirement discovery sessions with product owners, engineers, and client stakeholders.• Convert business needs into BRDs, FRDs, PRDs, workflows, and well-defined acceptance criteria.• Create epics, user stories, and tasks in JIRA with clear, testable specifications.• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and detailed process mapping.Technical Documentation• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence, including product requirement documents, functional specifications, data flow diagrams, API references (if applicable), SOPs, release notes, and user guides.• Ensure all documentation is regularly updated to reflect sprint changes and product updates.Agile Collaboration• Serve as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams.• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, story grooming, etc.• Collaborate with QA teams to align acceptance criteria and support test case creation.• Track sprint progress using JIRA boards, dashboards, and burndown charts.Process Mapping & Optimization• Document AS-IS and TO-BE workflows using Lucidchart, Miro, or similar tools.• Identify process gaps and propose optimization or automation opportunities.• Assist in implementing new product features and enhancements.Stakeholder Management• Communicate requirements and updates clearly across teams.• Conduct product walkthroughs, demos, and coordinate UAT sessions.• Collaborate effectively with US-based clients while managing expectations and timelines.Skills & ExperienceTechnical & Product Skills• Expertise in technical writing and structured documentation.• Strong hands-on experience with Confluence and JIRA.• Exposure to APIs, SQL basics, and system integrations (preferred).• Ability to work with engineering teams to validate feasibility and dependencies.Analytical Skills• Strong logical reasoning, process mapping, and problem-solving capabilities.• Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into clear, structured specifications.• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Communication Skills• Excellent verbal and written communication.• Ability to interact professionally with US stakeholders, engineers, and leadership teams.Who We’re Looking For• Someone proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable.• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.• Comfortable working with partial US overlap.• Strong discipline in documentation and version control.Work TimingsMid-Shift (Indian Standard Time) aligned with US client hours.Remote-only role with flexibility for client collaboration.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work with a US-based enterprise client.Fully remote work model.Exposure to cutting-edge integration projects.Competitive compensation package.How to ApplySend your updated resume to dhana@ri8solutions.com with the subject line: “Application – Business Analyst (Remote)”.
