As an experienced Business Analyst, you'll have proven success within an agile software development environment. Within integrations, our core areas of responsibility are Compliance & Fiscalisation, Payments, Data Import/Export & Reports, ERP, and APIs. Any prior exposure to these areas is a highly beneficial.Integrations development covers the full range of core business in the Cinema industry, and you will become adept at understanding the domain to both a wide and deep level. Uncovering intersections between Cinema, 3rd party, Moviegoer, and Vista requirements you'll be involved in scoping, gap analysis, and functional design, closely collaborating with the development team to shepherd each project through to deployment in a live cinema near you.About the roleSoftware Design and AnalysisGather requirements from project stakeholders including internal Vista staff and external customersAnalyse customer and business requirements and translate those into a software design that fits within the existing Vista frameworkProposal and Specification writingGenerate business requirements documents for review and approvalCommunicationSchedule and chair meetings to discuss and present the requirements of the solutionDeliver informative, well-organized presentations, and clearly articulating ideas and thoughtsEnsure that stakeholders across the business are on board with the proposed designInitiate and monitor the Specification Approval Process, collaborating with the Product Design Manager to ensure timely completionCollaborate across different areas of the business, liaising with international offices as regarding their requirementsProvide guidance to the Engineering Tribes while specifications are being coded and testedVista Application KnowledgeDevelop familiarity with and build knowledge of the full range of Vista applicationsDevelop a high level of expertise in selected Vista applications as directed by the Product Director/Delivery Manager, including expertise in functional features of the product, customer use of product, and product installationAbout youProven experience in a Business Analyst role within the software industryUnderstanding of concepts around Agile SDLC, technical systems and specification writingGood understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to generate effective requirements, and own feature development to deliveryExperience working within Integrations a plusAbility to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels across the companyProfessional Business Analyst qualifications welcomedThis is a hybrid role with a home and office-based split, requiring regular weekly (2 days per week) attendance in the Cape Town office.We are only considering applicants with an existing right to work in South Africa, without the need for employer sponsorship.About VistaVista Group is the global leader in providing technology solutions to the international film industry.
