Job Description

Responsible to lead, develop and motivate the TWC / liabilities SRM, RM teams, including performance assessment and appraisal. Achieve set targets for his team.as well as aimed service levels.Ensure cost efficiency / profitability.Guide liabilities teams to develop fruitful long lasting relations with existing clients as well as seeking new business opportunities.Offering comprehensive cash management solutions to clients including collections / payment solutions.Promote the online banking whenever / wherever applicable. Ensure satisfactory account conduct of mid-cap / BB borrowing accounts, early rectification of various related issues, in addition to revenues generation.Responsible for achieving Dep. objectives and targets through managing, training and following up on the team members Maintain existing relationships, and solicit acceptable new relationships, by originating, structuring, participating, in trade/working capital financing transactions to achieve pre-set financial/non-financial objective.Responsible for developing business & establishing Mashreq Bank as the leading Business Banking branch in the assigned geography. Monitor, review liabilities for the Team activity and provide guidance to develop/improve their skills & productivity.Ensure achievement of his liabilities targets on an ongoing basis.Ensure achievement of his team liabilities targets on an ongoing basisDrive the team on enhancing relationship revenue from existing portfolio of borrowing and non-borrowing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling products.Assist Regional manager in developing and executing business strategy, plan and budget.Develop and Implement business plan to achieve pre-set financial and non-financial objectives.Work with account managers in identifying business opportunitiesRiskReview the existing portfolio in a timely manner and ensure that appropriate credit facilities are recommended in line with the bank's credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks to an acceptable level.Follow-up and ensure the team conducts annual/ periodic credit facility reviews to existing relationships and identifying candidates for downgrades/ upgrades.Maintain acceptable portfolio quality.Follow-up and ensure the team implements and maintains complete control aspects i.e. documentation, periodical client visits / call reports, stock inspections and formal credit checks / informal market feedback to monitor the assigned portfolio effectively.Undertaking industry and company specific research analysis. Directly interacting with Industry participants.People ManagementDevelop on the job learning curve of liability team members to enable them to grow professionally and prepare them for higher levels of responsibility.Managing and maintaining high staff morale to ensure superior service delivery and low staff turnover.Set job objectives and perform timely review to measure performance and identify staff development and training needs.To ensure clarity among staff of KPI's and job competencies required to effectively achieve business goals.Identify and reward high performers and implement an effective retention program for critical staff.Encourage them to enhance their skills so as to provide quality service comparable to a world class organization.OthersResolve complex customer complaints and analyse root cause.Liaise with superiors and direct reports within the business unit & other related enabler units within the bank to achieve business objectives.Adhere to all policies with regard to KYC/ AML as set out by the bank.Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. documentation, periodical client visits / call reports, and formal / informal market feedback to manage the portfolio effectively.Strong people management skills.Complete knowledge and clear understanding of bank's policy; AML & compliance policy.Knowledge of various banking & financial products / services.Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to manage, lead, motivate, and monitor people.Exceptional leadership and management capabilities.Minimum sales/ marketing experience of +6 years.
