About the roleWe are looking for a Business Controller to join our Nordic finance team, based in Stockholm and reporting to the Head of FP&A, Northern Europe. You will work closely with the Nordic COO, providing strategic and operational financial support.This high-impact role in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment, offers exposure to both local operations and global finance teams, with regular collaboration across our London and Valencia offices.You will play a key role in shaping decision-making, delivering financial insights, and supporting business performance. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a dynamic, international setting. The role is well-suited to someone motivated by growth, eager to take ownership, and excited to contribute to the journey of a scaling business.This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week in the office and some limited international and domestic travel, due to the global nature of the organisation and the geographic spread of our Livio clinics.Key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will:• Partner with the Nordic COO to support financial performance and strategic decision-making.• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.• Take an active role in planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.• Perform financial analyses and help translate data into actionable insights.• Prepare materials for management and board reporting.• Support continuous improvements in financial systems and reporting tools.• Assist with month-end close and ad-hoc financial analysis.• Contribute to broader company development and growth initiatives.• Collaborate closely with finance colleagues and cross-functional teams.Success in this role will be measured by the quality of insights delivered, accuracy in forecasts, and your contribution to well-founded business decisions.QualificationsWe are looking for someone with:• A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.• 2–3 years of relevant experience from a finance role — for example FP&A, business control or financial analysis.• An analytical mindset and natural curiosity for understanding business drivers.• Strong skills in Excel and confidence in handling complex data sets.• Experience working with financial systems (Business Central is a plus).• Proactive approach to improving processes and adopting new tools — ideally with experience in, or willingness to learn, data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.• An interest and / or experience in working in an international environment.• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will:• Be entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.• Be solution-oriented, self-motivated, and driven by delivering results.• Enjoy working in fast-paced and evolving environments and be able to quickly grasp new topics.• Communicate clearly and confidently across levels and cultures and thrive in a multicultural setting.• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across the organisation.• Be comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and contributing to continuous improvement.• Value teamwork and shared success.About the companyLivio is the leading provider of IVF and fertility treatments in the Nordic region.
