The OpportunityHVDC is recruiting a dynamic professional with strong experience in Main circuit equipment to HVDC in Ludvika. The Engineering department primarily focusses on developing new solutions based on market trends, drives innovation, process improvement, and increasing productivity within the HVDC domain.The Main circuit equipment backbone team supports the organization by providing excellence in product life cycle management, creating value engineering, and end to end solutions promoting sustainability.You will support engineering activities related to main circuit equipment, driving positive and engaging work culture, collaborating with cross functional teams and with our international teams around the globe. As a member of our team, you'll work with experts on HVDC main circuit equipment, ranging from millihenries (mH), microfarads (uF) to kilovolts (kV) and gigawatts (GW).Are you excited to be part of HVDC? How You´ll Make An ImpactLead the scope of Main Circuit Equipment in HVDC projects.Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including main circuit design, plant design, supply chain, and project management.Drive technical investigations into new features, design rules, guidelines, and products.Review and evaluate supplier documents, technical specifications, and reports.Provide expert technical support throughout the project lifecycle, ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Review and approve technical requirements, including requirement specifications, supplier documentations, and interface specifications.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote knowledge across the organization QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in HVDC, power transmission, HV equipment manufacturing, or HV testing.Strong understanding of HVDC technologies (LCC/VSC)Proven experience in electrical design and analysis.Excellent communication and leadership skills, Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.Familiarity with digitalization tools such as PLM and Digital Twin is an advantageWhat We OfferCollective agreementFlexible working timeHealth care and wellness allowanceFantastic career possibilities within Hitachi Energy both within Sweden and globallyMentor to support you throughout onboard phaseVarious trainings and education supporting employee development Diversified company with over 70+ nationalities working in SwedenSupplementary compensation for parental leaveEmployee Benefit Portal with thousands of discounts and perksMore benefits could be connected to this specific roleMore About UsAre you ready for a new exciting challenge?
