Our main platform, TrialScreen.org, connects thousands of daily users with suitable clinical trials, transforming complex scientific information into plain language that empowers patients and researchers alike.We're expanding rapidly across the APAC region, and we are looking for motivated people who care about patients, evidence and equity in healthcare to help drive that growth.The OpportunityWe're seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Melbourne team and support TrialScreen's expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to:Work at the intersection of healthcare, technology and community impactBuild partnerships that connect more patients with life-changing clinical trialsJoin a committed, dynamic team with diverse backgrounds and deep experience in the clinical trial spaceReporting to both our Head of APAC and Head of Commercial, you'll play a crucial role in building partnerships with hospitals, research sites, contract research organisations (CROs), academic research institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and patient advocacy groups across APAC.We expect this role to be around 3-4 days per week for an early or mid-career candidate. We are also open to discussions with seasoned professionals who may prefer a smaller time fraction (for example, 2 days per week) and can bring strong existing experience and networks.What You'll DoIdentify potential client through market research and industry databasesInitiate contact with decision-makers in potential client organisationsDevelop compelling messaging that resonates with diverse APAC marketsSchedule high-quality meetings and demosTrack key metrics and provide regular pipeline reportsIdentify new business opportunities and emerging partnership modelsProvide insights to inform TrialScreen's regional strategyWho We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Bioscience, Biotechnology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)0-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role (internship experience counts!).
