Job SummaryBusiness Development Executive – Healthcare will drive growth and expand our presence within the healthcare catering sector. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and ensuring our catering services meet the unique needs of hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and client needs within the healthcare sector.Analyze competitors and industry conditions to inform strategic growth plans.Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and secure long-term contracts with healthcare facilities.Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations that align with client requirements and company capabilities.Negotiate contract terms and oversee contract execution to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive retention.Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.Collaborate with the Head of Operations to customize menus and service offerings that meet healthcare-specific dietary restrictions and nutritional standards.Monitor service delivery to ensure high quality and address any performance issues.Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to promote the company’s services and expand professional connections.Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand visibility in the healthcare market.Work with the marketing team to create targeted promotional materials and campaigns.Track and report on sales performance, client acquisition progress, and business development activities.Analyze metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business goals.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.Experience3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in the healthcare catering or broader healthcare services industry.SkillsStrong understanding of the healthcare sector and its specific catering requirements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
