We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our AI Partnerships Team at Meta. In this role you will play a crucial role in driving global partnerships to support our cutting-edge AI products.At Meta, we have been pioneering advanced approaches to AI for over a decade. Through our open approach, we have been investing in the future of AI in collaboration with experts across the field on projects such as PyTorch, AI supercomputers, AI infrastructure, AI for accessibility, Llama 2 and more.As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving partnerships from term sheet negotiations through product launches, managing relationships, and growing, measuring, and optimizing partnership success. You will have an in-depth understanding of AI, enjoy working with product teams and multiple partners and have experience navigating complex cross-functional teams to achieve your goals.Business Development Manager - AI Partnerships Responsibilities:Defining, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships for Meta's AI products and technologiesManaging relationships with partners, identifying new opportunities, and growing partnership successWorking closely with product and engineering teams to define priorities and identify key opportunitiesManaging external and internal cross-functional teams when integrating products or technologies with external partnersConducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI industryWorking cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry trendsProviding regular reports and updates on partnership activity and performanceMinimum Qualifications:12+ years of work experience including in business development, strategy or related fieldsExperience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreementsExperience developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with executive stakeholdersExperience working closely with product and engineering teamsExperience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organizationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of the AI ecosystem and competitive landscape including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positionsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experiencePreferred Qualifications:MBA or advanced technical degree such as MSCS and MSEEExperience with AI products and technologies such as AI models, use-cases, and systemsExperience managing and driving AI initiatives from inception to launch successfully with partnersExperience in content and data licensing dealsExperience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insightsExperience in a fast moving and highly ambiguous start-up environmentExperience presenting to, communicating, and influencing at all levels of an organizationAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
