We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager/Director to lead commercial growth in Japan and strengthen long-term partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves scientific innovation, strategic selling, and building meaningful customer relationships in a fast-moving, impact-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities as you level up your business development career:Lead the commercial strategy for Japan to meet revenue and growth targets.Build strong, consultative relationships with customers and expand key accounts.Identify and develop new business across diagnostics, life sciences, and therapeutic markets.Provide scientific and commercial guidance throughout the sales cycle.Track market and competitive trends to inform strategy and forecasting.Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in CRM tools.Engage with KOLs and industry leaders to elevate visibility and adoption.Partner with internal teams to support customer needs and contract development.What we are looking for:B.Sc education and 3+ years of B2B commercial experience in biotech, life sciences, genomics, or related sectors. OR advanced degree and 1+ years B2B experience.Bilingual - Japanese (must) + English.Success in strategic account management and complex sales cycles.Technical understanding of nucleic acid technologies (mRNA, enzymes, oligos, etc.).Skilled with CRM systems and Microsoft 365.Strong communicator, self-driven, effective in remote/cross-functional environments.Willing to travel up to 50%.We look forward to your application.
