We’ve developed and launched a unique nitrogen gas-based fire suppression system for detecting and extinguishing fires in small enclosures.Our company currently consists of a close-knit team of 15 FTEs. While our headquarters is in Noordwijk, our manufacturing facility is based in Farmsum. We are scaling up quickly, with a solid order pipeline and a growing global customer base.To support this growth, we are expanding our Sales Team and are looking for a passionate and experienced: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERYour RoleThe Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving ExxFire's commercial growth in the Benelux and the Nordics. This role focuses on developing new markets, partnerships, and customer relationships, with a particular focus on the rapidly growing battery and energy storage market. The manager plays a key role in ExxFire's continued international expansion and the positioning of its innovative fire safety technology.You will:Identify and approach new business opportunities, customers, and distribution partnersDevelop and implement an effective commercial strategy for the regionBuild and maintain sustainable relationships with end customers, OEMs, and distributorsAnalyze market developments, competition, and trends in the fire safety and battery sectorsAchieve revenue and margin targets in accordance with annual targetsRepresent ExxFire at trade fairs, conferences, and customer visitsCollaborate with the internal organization (sales support, engineering, production) to tailor customer solutionsReport commercial results and market insights to the management teamKey ResponsibilitiesAchievement of team targets (revenue, margin, conversion, response time)Number of leads followed up and conversion to quotes/ordersCustomer satisfactionTurnaround time from quote to orderWhat You BringHBO/WO work and thinking levelAt least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account managementExperience in the fire safety sector, technical industry, or battery/energy storage market is a strong assetDemonstrable results in generating leads and achieving revenue growthHunter mentality: proactive, results-oriented, and persistentStrong communication and negotiation skillsCommercial acumen with strategic thinkingTechnical understanding of or affinity for fire safety and detection systemsIndependent, entrepreneurial, and able to operate in an international contextExcellent command of Dutch and English (spoken and written)Willingness to travel frequently What We OfferAn ambitious, driven, and supportive teamCompetitive base salary with a performance-based bonus scheme (based on sales results and KPIs)Training and career opportunities within a growing international organizationLaptop, phone, and travel allowanceProfessional and informal work environment with direct communicationOpportunities to actively contribute to the further development of ExxFire's commercial organization Ready to Apply?Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
