Job DescriptionJob Title: Business Development ManagerEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: This position is responsible for developing the demand in the marketplace, by creating new and maintaining current customers, providing training sessions regarding our product and project management for primarily the Design, Kitchen & Bath Studios, and Fabricator customers and communities. This position is also responsible for promoting Hyundai products at all Design and Fabricator communities, ensuring all merchandising is up to date.Roles & Responsibility:Responsible for overall sales of the defined territoryPresent and sell company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodel, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and assigned fabrication basePrepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be madeFollow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activityDevelop and implement special sales activities to reduce stockDevelop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledgeDevelop and promote brand awareness with all potential customers within assigned territoryDevelops and executes business plans for territory of all customer segmentsDevelops key content of promotional visitsEstablish and maintain current client and potential client relationships by networking and participating in trade shows or related organizationsGathers market intelligence and provides data to Marketing TeamIdentify new customers and set them up with initial retail package including samples, displays, and collateral based on qualification, marketing visibility and/or sales volumeImmediate response to customer regarding quotesIncrease market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of-purchase materials within assigned territoryKeep current customers informed and trained on new and existing products and programsIdentify and resolve any client concerns and maintains key relationships with customersManage account services through quality checks and other follow-upManages Customer relationship: expectations, needs, concerns, etc., in order to encourage the consumption and sale of new products. Assist with trade show set-up, customer entertainment events, and other promotional activities as needed including weekend sales eventsAttend Industry related events regularly (NKBA, ASID, AIA, NARI), build relationships, and report back with recaps and productive feedbackDelivers marketing materials assigned to the client according to their value (segmentation)Engages actively in the opportunities offered by the organization of activities, events and other resources offered by the Center in collaboration with those responsible for Trade marketingEnsure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochure, and other collateral supplies in all locationsMaximizes the use of these facilities as exhibitions of the Hyundai productsPenetrate geographic area with Hyundai core productsPrepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goalsPrepare and provide training to customersPrepare presentations, proposals and sales toolsSelf-generated leadsMaintain CRM toolVisit retail customers and support generating sales through building key relationshipsEducation and Work Experience:Proven prior experience achieving goals, executing strategic plans, gaining market share, in the same or similar industryBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferredAt least 3 years minimum experience within the region for sales of solid surface and quartzExperience with working with Fabrication/Installation, kitchen dealers/remodelersMust have valid driver license with clean driving recordOther relevant experience will be consideredPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Requires ability to safely operate an automobile.Work Environment:Must have valid driver license with clean driving recordJob requires driving company vehicle 80% of time to customers within territorySome overnight travel may be required depending on business needs
