This includes sourcing and closing opportunities related to angel investment programs, accelerators, incubators, VC ecosystem initiatives, and government tenders in the entrepreneurship and innovation space.The ideal candidate has strong relationships in the startup ecosystem, experience with government entities, and a proven track record in business development and project winning.⸻Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Partnerships • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with government entities, corporates, universities, and ecosystem partners. • Develop proposals for accelerators, incubators, angel networks, and startup support initiatives. • Manage the full cycle of partnership acquisition — from prospecting to negotiation and closing. • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within the angel investing, VC, and startup communities.2. Government Tenders & Programs • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, RFPs, and proposals related to startup ecosystem development. • Work closely with internal teams to craft winning tender submissions. • Monitor government portals and ecosystems for relevant opportunities.3. Investment & Deal Flow Support • Support angel investment activities by scouting and evaluating startups. • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance deal sourcing, screening, and evaluation processes. • Engage with founders, investors, and partners to strengthen the investment pipeline.4. Strategic Planning & Growth • Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with Numu’s vision and growth targets. • Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and ecosystem needs. • Represent the company at conferences, events, and ecosystem engagements.⸻Required QualificationsExperience • 4–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in: • Angel investing • Venture capital • Startup programs (accelerators/incubators) • Consulting or government projects related to entrepreneurship • Strong experience preparing proposals, RFPs, and tender submissions. • Proven network within the startup and investment ecosystem in Saudi or the region.Skills • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Strong proposal writing and presentation abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strategic mindset with a practical execution approach. • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
